5.1 Add the Integration
Go to the Home Assistant Settings page → Devices & ServicesAdd Integration, then search for ha_ems.
5.2 Cloud Mode vs Local Mode
You can choose Cloud mode or Local mode. Cloud mode syncs the data from the app. Local mode ensures that devices are on the same LAN as Home Assistant, automatically discovering and managing compatible local devices.
Cloud Mode
Cloud mode synchronizes data from the AEC Cloud APP. You need an AEC Cloud APP account.
Local Mode
Local mode requires that the devices are on the same LAN as Home Assistant, and will auto-discover and manage compatible local devices. No AEC Cloud APP account is required.
Follow the prompts to configure your AEC Cloud APP account. Once complete, you can manage your energy devices and instant home information within Home Assistant.
